The first Great Cormorants (Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis) have arrived to Reposaari village situated by the West Coast of Finland. As most of their summer time habitats are still icy and frozen, they'll stay here for a week or two fishing Common Smelts in the shallow waters nearby. It's also a big entertainment for the citizens of Reposaari to ice fish Smelts by drilling holes in the ice.
