The gone winter was long and cold and the sea got its ice already during the first days of December. Around 10'th of March small areas of open water formed in shallow waters by the reef and a small flock of Whooper Swans, a few Mute Swans and some Grey-legged Geese found their way there along with Herring Gulls and a pair of Great Black-backed Gull. I made an over night recording and was really surprised to hear also the Blackbird singing on this cold and icy reef.
