A beautiful midwinter day with no wind and still open water by Loukkeennokka shore in Kuuminainen, Western Finland. By the shoreline a small swell is pressing water and air between the ground ice and a stranded floe. The situation with the microphone array in the upper picture. Picture below is from the same point, but to opposite direction. Next day the sea was frozen half a mile out.
