In Mäntyluoto Port by the Finnish West Coast is an abandoned port crane, named 'Luveeni', said to be oldest one in Finland as it is built in 1902. It was saved in the 90's for preserving, but nothing happened, and the crane is degrading rapidly. I visited the port one early winter evening (inaccessible without permissions) in a gale force snowstorm, and made this recording from inside the cabin. A little flock of Crows took shelter on the lee side for a moment, and as the wind grows, the noise of ships in the harbour increases.
