This is a recording made simultaneously outside and inside a creaking pine, it's top scrubbing against another tree, in a strong wind in a forest by Makholma shore. Two rigid five inch bolts was screwed near the root of the pine with contact microphones fastened in these. At the same time two omnidirectional microphones recorded the ambience. These two recordings was mixed together in sync, with end and beginning faded. So, in the beginning is the recorded ambience, giving smoothly way for the inner sounds of the tree, and in the end, the ambience is taking over again.
